Cran-Blueberry Chia Smoothie
This smoothie is packed with antioxidants and has inflammation reducing agents. It will also make you feel full for longer, because of the chia seeds. it’s great for a quick healthy breakfast, or a post workout snack. You’ll just need a handful of ingredients and a blender. Watch your winter blues disappear after a sip of this Cran-Blueberry Chia Smoothie!
yields 1 smoothie
- 3/4 cup pure cranberry juice (Add more or less for desired consistency FYI pure cranberry is very bitter to taste)
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 Tbsp agave nectar to sweeten
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- about 5 ice cubes
Add everything to your blender, and blend until smooth.
Pour into a glass and enjoy.
